AcuKote HVAF Spray Guns

The AcuKote HVAF Guns are primarily designed for deposition of quality coatings from powders of metals, cemented carbides and metal-ceramics.

Metals: The guns efficiently spray a majority of commercial Fe-, Ni- and Co-based alloys; low-melting point metals, such as zinc, aluminum and copper; titanium and high-temperature metals.

Cemented carbides and metal-ceramics: Spray materials include composite tungsten carbide-based and chromium carbide-based powders, molybdenum boride-cobalt-chrome, nickel-graphite, and intermetallic-alumina powders.

Other processes: Besides coating deposition, the AK-HVAF Guns perform high-speed HVAF grit blasting with the abrasive grit for surface preparation, as well as work-piece cooling with air after or during coating deposition. The AK-05 gun is ideal for HVAF coating stripping without damaging a substrate.
